This Dome Lamp Fixture is designed for use with large/long bulbs. The dome extends beyond the face of the lamp so longer bulbs are contained within the fixture. The polished aluminum surface inside the dome increases the UBV & UVA output compared to domes with interior white surfaces- you get the most out of your Bulbs. We use Fluker's when we can get them.
