This Skunk Diet is a balanced, vitamin-fortified pellet feed that contains all the nutrition necessary for growth and reproduction. Developed with the help of animal nutritionists and veterinarians, Premium Skunk Diet is the first diet to be formulated to the exact needs of captive and domesticated Skunks. GUARANTEED ANALYSIS: crude protein (min) 20%, crude fat (min) 14%, crude fiber (max) 9%, calcium (min) 2%, calcium (max) 2.2%, phosphorous 1%, moisture (max) 13%, vitamin A (min) 6,480 iu/lb.

FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS: Feed Premium Skunk Diet free choice or about 4 ounces daily to your pet along with fresh fruits and vegetables. Adjust the amount fed to ensure your pet's optimum body weight. It is recommended that VITA-Skunk is added to the food daily to ensure optimal nutrition. Do not leave moistened food in the cage for more than 2 hours or dry food for more than 24 hours. Always provide fresh drinking water to your Skunk.

Skunks age 6-8 weeks Moisten pellets with 1 part warm water, allow mixture to sit for 5 minutes. Feed four (4) times per day 50% Skunk Diet mash and 50% fruits & vegetables, as much as your skunk will eat at one time. Skunks age 8 - 12 weeks - Feed 75% Skunk Diet moistened with water along with 25% fruits & vegetables three (3) times per day. Dry pellets should also be introduced at this stage. Slowly, convert to dry Premium Skunk Diet. Skunks age 12 weeks adult - Feed 75% Premium Skunk Diet (dry pellets) and 25% fruits & vegetables two (2) times per day.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS: Refrigeration is highly recommended to retain full nutritional value. Store bag in a cool, dry place (under 72 degrees). Keep food in a sealed, airtight container. Do not take food in and out of refrigerator or freezer daily, this will compromise the food. We recommend storing the bag of food in the refrigerator, taking out enough food for a week at a time, and then refilling with the refrigerated food. Do not frequently expose food to a freeze/thaw cycle. If storing bag for longer than 8 weeks, refrigerate (up to 6 months). If storing for longer than 6 months, freeze (up to 12 months).
